A little bit about me…..

Hi, I’m Shaz the crochet designer behind Live Love Crochet Shaz. I have been crocheting since 2015 full time and on and off (mostly off) since I was a teenager. It wasn’t until we decided to travel Australia in our Home on Wheels that I asked my beautiful Mum to show me how to crochet, AGAIN. It was then I realised there was so much creativity you could do with just a few stitches and I was Hooked (pardon the pun).

At first I just loved to create and design one of a kind pieces. I started to receive requests for the patterns so I taught myself how to read patterns so as I would get a better understanding of the requirements to write my own patterns. My most popular design is my Kombi Tissue Box Cover so it was only fitting that this would be my first pattern.

I try to create designs that most confident beginners can tackle. My desire is to offer a wide range of patterns to suit all levels of crochet in a broad range of genres. Simply put, something for everyone.

My patterns come in US and UK terms with a full written pattern and photos in each set of terms.

There are so many lovely crochet mentors that have inspired me to get this far and I get so excited thinking of all the wonderful things I really want to create and share with all you like minded crocheters.

I feel very humbled to see others enjoying my patterns and creations and I just hope I inspire others to take up this amazing craft. Crochet keeps me centred and I have completed a level 1 teachers course through the Crochet Guild of Australia so that I can pass these skills on to others who are looking to learn.

LiveLoveCrochetShaz sums me up completely. I try to live my life to the fullest and I love my family and friends with all that I have and my Crochet helps me to do all of that.
