Pockets full of Christmas Wreath Crochet Pattern PDF Download UK Terms

Welcome to my Pockets full of Christmas Wreath pattern.

There are 13 patterns in total. First you will create the granny square cover to put over your pool noodle wreath. Then there are 12 pockets to make and sew onto your wreath. These pockets can be filled with treats for anyone to enjoy on the lead up to Christmas, kind of like a 12 days of Christmas countdown but before Christmas instead of after.

You can always opt to not put the opening in the back and fill your pieces with some wadding and use them purely as decoration on the wreath or even your tree. The choice is up to you. I always like to give a variety of options to get more use from my patterns.

Let’s get started and fill your Pockets full of Christmas and get into the spirit of this beautiful time of year.

May you have a very Merry Christmas.

Skill Level: Intermediate.

Finished Size: Approximately 52cm in diameter.

You’ll need:

- 3mm Hook or adjust your size to match the gauge swatch. This is important for your cover to fit neatly.

- Yarn needle, Scissors, Pins, Stitch Markers.

- 5 x pairs of 5 or 6mm safety eyes, a small amount of wadding for stuffing a few pieces

- beads if you choose to add this option.

- A pool noodle or a foam ring that measures 51cm in diameter from the outside edge and is 20cm thick (measured around the pool noodle).

Yarn: 6 to 8 ply yarn

I used – Scheepjes Catona 50gms / 125m per ball.

C1 – 106 White x 350gms

C2 – 505 (Skin colour) x 50gms

C3 – 192 Red x 50gms

C4 – 514 Green x 50gms

If you use a different colour for your wreath cover then you will need 250gms of that colour and 100gms of white. Therefore your C1 will be white and your Wreath cover colour is separate.
