Shazzle Bag - Crochet Pattern US Terms

$4.00

Thank you for choosing my Shazzle Bag pattern,

This was a Bag that I whipped up for myself and found that everyone wanted to make one, or have one, so I wrote the pattern to give everyone a little Shazzle in their life.

Lol, as you can tell the name is an extension of my nickname, Shaz. That’s what happens when you are stuck for names. Hopefully you’ll find it is a fun and useful bag…. Enjoy.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

Finished Size: Fully adjustable in simple increments to suit any size.

You’ll need:

5.5mm Hook (or 5mm, 4.5mm, 4mm, 3.5mm depending on your yarn ply)

Yarn needle

Scissors

Stitch Markers

Yarn:

1: 12ply cotton from Industrial yarns used approx 500gm. Measures - base 27cm in diameter, 33cm high.

2: 10ply cotton (Fiddlesticks Finch 71gm ball / 109m) used 5 balls. Measures - base 23cm in diameter, 29cm high.

3: 6ply cotton (Scheepjes Catona 50gm ball / 125m) used 3 balls. Measures - base 15cm in diameter, 24cm high.

You can use any ply cotton and adjust your bag size by the amount of rows you do in the base and the size hook you use. The samples were made to the pattern size to show the differences when made so that you know what you may need in case you need to make yours bigger.

I recommend: 5mm hook for 10plym, 4.5mm hook for 8ply, 3mm was used for the 6ply.
